I am a firmware engineer.. one of those guys who is involved in signal processing. Currently I am involved in writing a codec .. can't talk more about the great things we are doing ..would violate my company policy.. I have a post grad in Control and Instrumentation.. but enjoyed signal processing the most.. I have worked in Embedded systems, telecommunications, have been part of design and development of mobile handsets and subscriber units.. have written bulk subscriber units for GSM,have been largely involved in the Air Interface protocols .. IS54, IS136 and GSM .. Back in the college, I have written software emulator for 8085. Have been involved in RTOS.. planning to write a small kernel someday for some rudimentary processor. My MTech project was largely theoretical .. with a long title :-) | |||||||||||||||||||||||
